This is an LSA role in a specialist provision for children aged 7-19, all of whom have experienced significant trauma and face social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
There is a strong focus on holistic and restorative practices, creating empathy whenever possible. The school prioritizes non-punitive measures, using manual handling training only when no other options are available.

In addition, can you ensure the children's safety? You will receive extensive SEN and safeguarding training, including MAPA Training. As an aspiring clinical psychologist, you will need to explore and refine your areas of genuine interest and identify where your skills need enhancement over the course of your qualification.

5. Implement various therapies and holistic processes, recognizing that even small progress is a success.
6. Work with students with Pathological Demand Avoidance and Pervasive Developmental Disorder.
7. Focus on the diverse cognitive abilities of all students, ensuring positive engagement and a sense of acceptance.
8. Provide students with objectives and promote as much independence as possible, especially for those in assisted living.
