We are seeking an enthusiastic team player who also enjoys working independently and thrives when diving into details. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in leading and executing audit activities in the EME region and globally. Your engagements will include a variety of audits such as operational, financial, IT, and investigative reviews, along with any requested audits surrounding compliance (e.g., SOX, FCPA). The role is part of our AGCO multinational audit team spanning across North and South America as well as Asia Pacific. In this role, you will leverage advanced AI applications to enhance audit processes and insights. Your stakeholder management skills will be key when working in partnership with a variety of stakeholders, including AGCO’s Senior Management Team, our co-sourcing partner as well as external audit partner.
Your Impact:
1. Perform and lead audits including the detailed testing and analysis of operational activities and business processes to identify potential control gaps, operational ineffectiveness of controls, and areas for improvement.
2. Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations accurately and concisely, adhering to internal audit industry (i.e., Institute of Internal Auditors) methodologies and departmental standards.
3. Write up audit reports and communicate audit findings in a clear and timely manner, providing actionable insights for management.
4. Lead the development of corrective actions and help to assess the adequacy of solutions offered by management. Follow up on the remediation of previously identified audit findings.
5. Build and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality.
Your Experience and Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Applicant must be ACA or ACCA qualified.
2. Min 4 years' work experience as an external or internal Auditor, either in a public accounting firm or internal audit department.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective communication of audit findings, reports, and recommendations.
4. Strong organizational skills, diligence, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
5. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex processes, identify risks, and propose practical solutions. Cultural awareness and ability to work in an international team.
