Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Wanted
Location: Just outside Andover
Are you someone who loves working with young people and wants to make a real difference? A small, friendly SEND secondary school near Andover is looking for passionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their team.
This school is growing and supports high-functioning learners with diagnoses like autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. They’re expanding their space and need extra hands to help create a fun, supportive, and engaging environment for their students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with their learning and personal development.
* Assist teachers in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
* Provide one-on-one support to students as needed.
Requirements:
* Experience: You’ve worked with young people before, and if that’s been with SEND pupils, even better!
* Transport: The school’s in a rural location, so you’ll need your own car to get there.
* Attitude: Patience, kindness, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
Additional Information:
* This is a temporary role, but if you love it, there’s the chance to go permanent.
* You’ll work school hours, term time only.
* You’ll join the school through Teaching Personnel after a successful trial morning and vetting checks.
