Description internal Housing Manager- Lateral Move Please note this vacancy is only available for Birmingham City Council employees that are under a S188 (Priority Movers and Lateral Movers) Permanent Grade 5 - £40,221 - £48,474 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week This is an opportunity to join Birmingham City Council's Housing Management Service and provide a real difference for the tenants of this city. This is a vital role managing a team to deliver Tenancy Management, Antisocial Behaviour Investigation and Enforcement and managing Estate Services. Housing is currently going through a Service redesign, and you will be responsible for supporting your team through this Journey. You will be responsible for Managing a number of staff directly and indirectly in line with BCC HR Policies and Procedures. The role will report to a Senior Service Manager and will be part of a team. It is important that you are able to manage your time effectively dealing with conflicting priorities and enquiries on a daily basis. Being able to problem solve effectively in order to resolve issues at the earliest opportunity.
