Reflection Room Manager - Manchester - January start
We are working with a secondary school in North Manchester who are looking for an experienced pastoral support worker join them to manage the reflection room as the manager. The role would suit somebody with previous experience of working in a school or with young adults, who has a keen interest in enabling young people to fulfil their potential and has an ability to develop strong, empathetic relationships with students, whilst maintaining high expectations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of work and programmes of support for the students referred to the room including liaising with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads and Deputy Heads of Year and wider school leadership team. This post requires a dynamic, proactive and caring person to support, mentor and work alongside students who need additional time to self-regulate, complete their work and reflect on their approach to learning. The successful candidate will work alongside a small group of students from 11-16 years old, monitoring and tracking their progress and help them successfully reintegrate into the main learning environment.
The successful candidate will have good English and literacy skills, good ICT skills and be able to communicate effectively with parents and staff to support the students to be successful.

Duration - Full time, Temp to Perm
Working hours - 08:15am - 3:15 pm
Pay - £166.57 - £182.19 per day
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THiS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Rightot to Work in the UK
Be able to work full time Monday to Friday
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two year
