About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Clinical Skills and Simulation Facilitator to join a well-established private healthcare provider in South Kent, near Cranbrook. The hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art facility, rated OUTSTANDING by the CQC, and prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care across a wide range of clinical specialties. As a Clinical Skills and Simulation Facilitator, you will be an integral part of the Learning & Experience team, responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a range of clinical training programs. These include Basic Life Support (BLS), Immediate Life Support (ILS), venepuncture, manual handling, and IV cannulation.
Duties and responsibilities:
As the Clinical Skills and Simulation Facilitator, your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering training in life support, manual handling, IV therapy, and core clinical skills.
Working with clinical teams and SMEs to keep training content current and in line with best practices.
Coordinating and managing training schedules through the hospital's system.
Providing expert guidance to ensure staff meet legal and healthcare standards.
Addressing urgent training needs in partnership with the OD team to meet demands swiftly.
Who we're looking for:
A Resus Council Instructor qualification with experience in delivering life support training.
Registration as an Allied Healthcare Professional or Nurse, with relevant clinical training experience.
Experience as an Advanced Life Support Practitioner and a solid background in clinical training delivery.
A willingness to undertake additional training in clinical skills such as manual handling.

Person Specification:
All applicants must be a qualified Resus Council Instructor, registered as an Allied Healthcare Professional or Nurse, with eligibility to live and work in the UK and experience as an Advanced Life Support Practitioner. At least 1 year of experience in clinical training is essential.
