Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Chorley Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Salary: £13.75 - £14.20 Per hour Job Duties: Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support Helping to maintain a positive learning environment Supervising students during break times and lunch periods Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant work experience in an educational setting Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: Minimum of GCSE level education or equivalent Experience: Previous experience working in a school or educational environment Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of educational practises and principles Ability to communicate effectively with students and teachers Organisational skills and ability to multitask Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Certificate or diploma in Teaching Assistance First Aid training Working Conditions: This role involves working in a school environment, assisting teachers and students in the classroom.
