As a business, they offer a nationwide service from concept to final installation, specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, drainage, plumbing, and electrical solutions for the Residential, Hotel, Care Homes, Student Accommodation, Leisure, and Commercial sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their dynamic team in Birmingham.
The Role
As the successful Estimator, you will be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids on projects.
Responsibilities include:
1. Send out queries and keep quotation documents up to date.
2. Complete tenders utilizing estimation software.
3. Present tender for adjudication to management providing all labour/material/prelim analysis.
4. Complete tender analysis forms.
5. Provide project analysis and data.
6. Support Client presentation, provide information, and attend negotiations as requested.
7. Produce accurate and concise tender letters.
8. Chase tendered work and report the outcome to the relevant Manager.
9. Liaise with supply chain e.g., sub-contractors, manufacturers, etc.
10. Liaise with the relevant client about all information regarding tender opportunities.
11. Assist contracts team during project installations.
12. Attend Operation meetings maintaining communication levels with all departments.
13. Identify design risks whilst carrying out design and populate the risk register.
14. Carry out estimation database changes.
15. Carry out estimates to relevant deadlines.
16. Provide programme information from tender relevant to pre-construction and delivery programmes.
17. Transfer/upload all information to our company ERP system (4PS).
18. Assist with the training of apprentices.
19. Oversee Estimator's work.
