Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Description: Job Duties: Supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities in the classroom Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans Providing one-on-one support to students as needed Helping students with their coursework and assignments Encouraging and motivating students to participate in classroom activities Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Experience working with students with special educational needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: A relevant qualification in education or support work Experience: Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and strategies Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid certification Working Conditions: Working hours may vary based on school schedules Potential exposure to challenging behaviours from students Regular collaboration with teachers and other support staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
