About Us: The Rehability UK Group is a dynamic and innovative family of companies, driven by the vison of our founder. Rubery Court (Walsall, West Midlands) is a residential care home supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, challenging behavior and personal care. Most of the people we support are hoisted and non-verbal, however we do have some that are able to verbally communicate. We have 10 bedrooms with on suites and two supported living flats on second floor. THE ROLE Role is rewarding as you will have the privilege to support such wonderful people live their lives with choice and dignity., supporting them to achieve their life goals and promoting independence along the way. No two days are the same This role includes support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - it may be supporting our residents going out in the morning and taking them to an activity in the afternoon. Assisting them to get ready in the morning, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning. This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with brilliant adults, professionals, their families and help each of them to find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood life. You will find yourself getting stuck into fun, long walks, outdoor educational trips, and an interactive and practical hands-on activity.
