Role: Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Shropshire and Telford
Salary: £83.85 - £95 per day
An Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Shropshire is looking for an Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with a friendly team. The ideal candidate needs to be enthusiastic, committed to raising standards, and have high expectations. This two-form entry school seeks an Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant who shares a passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish.
Protocol Education is working in partnership with several multi-academy trusts in the area, focusing on providing the highest quality of education and pastoral care to all the schools, developing compassionate, resilient, and inspirational young students who can thrive within an ever-changing community.
Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
* Collaborate with other teaching assistants and teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
* Create and adapt learning resources to meet individual student needs.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Monitor and track student progress, reporting findings to teachers and parents.
* Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
* Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting (preferred).
* Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
* Can work effectively as part of a team.
* Has knowledge of educational policies and practices.
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
