FDT Construction Services Limited are looking to employe a seasoned Site Manager with Bachelor's Degree for working on our project in Oldham for a duration of 8 months on a FT Contract with possiblity of extending further. Main Responsibilities are liste below: Health and Safety - Review and approval of the H&S and Construction Environmental Plan (CEMP) and Construction Phase Plan (CPP) issued by FDT’s external H&S consultant - Manage the entire H&S process on site and make sure this is adhered by all staff on site inclusive of subcontractors and visitors. - Manage and maintain the site setup to be fully compliant with the H&S regulations at all times - Liaison with FTD’s consultant in terms of any H&S requirements. - Organise weekly toolbox talks with workers on site inclusive of subcontractors. - Issue Instruction and information, Review and approve RAMS of own inhouse works and subcontractors. - Site induction and make sure everybody is signing in the visitors logbook. - Organise and complete all documents required for day to day work such as: hot work permits, site inductions, weekly inspection report, daily inspection report, plant and machinery inspection, toolbox talks, etc. Construction on site: - Prepare the list of the necessary documents, site set up elements, etc for start of the job and during the project. - Liaison with site operatives, subcontractors on site for day-to-day work. - Review design and details to be executed on site. - Issue of lists of materials/equipment required for the specific works (at least a week in advance) - Liaise on day-to-day business with the Buyer and QS for any requirements on site. - Monitor and manage progress of building programme and report if issues are being encountered. - File H&S documentation and hand over to Head Office at the end of the project. - Liaise with the Client on a weekly basis and action all points as instructed. - Liaise with Designers, Consultants, and Subcontractors for all project details.
