Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time, two-year fixed-term Research Data Quality Officer to join the UKCRC fully registered Derby Clinical Trials Support Unit (Derby CTSU). In this pivotal role, you will support the Derby CTSU Data Management team with data management and quality assurance tasks for studies under the unit’s oversight. This position involves close collaboration with Clinical Trials Managers, Medical Statisticians, Data Clerks, Investigators, and pharmaceutical companies to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy.
Main duties of the job
* Conducts data cleaning and query management of DCTSU study data.
* Escalation of observed trends or errors in study data to the Data Leads.
* Overseeing study database access across all studies.
* Conducting planned data quality activities to support the data managers.
* Assisting with study central monitoring actions.
* Assisting with User Access Testing of study databases.
* Extracting reports for Power BI manually when required.
