The Trust is seeking to recruit an Information Officer to primarily provide support to the PACS manager & users of the PACS system with Imaging Services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder must have knowledge and experience within an imaging department and of a PACS system. The main responsibilities will include managing requests for data, liaising with medical records, transferring images to other service providers, and providing feedback of issues to the PACS manager.
This would ideally suit an Assistant Practitioner/ Radiographer Assistant with IT/technical interests who wishes to explore an IT support role.

Person Specification
Essential and Desirable Criteria
* Experience in an Imaging department of RIS/PACS.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, in person, verbal, and written.
* Experience of patient administration systems and IEP.
* Knowledge of using Microsoft Office and Excel.
* Knowledge of Radiology Terminology.
* Key trainer PACS/Cris.

Salary: £24,071 to £25,674 per annum pro rata.
