We are a large friendly Maternity Team who multi-task and support all areas of Maternity Services here at Homerton University NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a Maternity Booking Clerk to join our team.
You will need to have excellent customer care skills and experience and enjoy being busy and challenged on a daily basis.
IT and data entry plays a vital part of this role so you will need to be an efficient administrator with proven reception and telephone experience.
You must have:
• - An excellent telephone manner
• - Prioritisation and organisational skills to manage your work effectively
• - Intermediate skills in administrative processes and customer services
• - Good communications skills both verbal and written
• - Ability to work without direct supervision on a daily basis, as well as effectively within a team;
• - Attention to detail
• - Able to meet tight deadlines
Working hours: 37.5 per week
Previous experience of working with the public is essential.

You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to the Maternity patients and you will be be working as part of a team to ensure patient referrals and telephone queries are dealt with professionally, empathetically and timely.
