JOIN A LEADING WELL RESPECTED REGIONAL CONTRACTOR
Working within the operational team of this well respected, well established regional contractor, this position for a Contracts Manager comes due to growth within the region, from an existing client base and the successful addition to a number of frameworks with projects in the education, healthcare, and retail sectors.
Reporting to the operations manager, the role will take autonomous responsibility from contract win through to handover for a number of projects in the region of up to £10m or a portfolio of work of smaller schemes.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to establish project objectives, scope, and requirements.
2. Develop and manage comprehensive contract documentation, including procurement agreements, change orders, and subcontractor agreements.
3. Monitor project progress and performance to ensure adherence to contract terms, project plans, and quality standards.
4. Mitigate risks by identifying potential issues, disputes, and deviations from contract requirements, and take proactive measures to address them.
5. Oversee budget allocation and cost control to ensure projects are executed within financial parameters.
6. Maintain open communication channels with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status, changes, and potential impacts.
7. Manage relationships with subcontractors & suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
