It is a local employer who are the number one wholesale supplier within their industry, distributing across the UK and Ireland. Hays have been appointed by this company to recruit a Telesales Executive to join their team. This is a new position within the company. It is full-time hours, working Monday to Friday. It is an office-based role with a competitive salary.
Your new role
As Telesales executive, you will establish and manage the telesales hub, driving engagement with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.Key Responsibilities - you will be in regular contact with existing customers (daily, weekly, or monthly) to ensure the highest service is delivered and to maintain strong relationships. In your Telesales position, you will work closely with the area sales managers who are responsible for specific customers, ensuring the customers are provided with regular follow-up, reducing reliance on field-based sales representatives. You will also be responsible for identifying and initiating contact with prospective customers to grow the customer base, primarily across mainland UK, with some engagement in Ireland also.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience and a track record of success in B2B telesales. Demonstrated ability to achieve results and exceed sales targets in a telesales environment. Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. You will be self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and lead the development of a telesales hub.
Familiarity with the UK and Irish business markets is an advantage.
