Painter & Decorator Location : Site Based Greater Manchester in the main, with occasional cover Lancaster and Warwick. Typically working Monday to Friday 39 Hours. An outline of your responsibilities and experience Previous experience working as a dedicated Painter and Decorator. Working alongside a team of trade colleagues to refurbish commercial/education type properties Internal and external painting works on classrooms, labs, offices, and residential areas, which may include some prep and finishing works including: Ceilings, walls, woodwork and doors - must be happy to work at heights A successful candidate will need to provide evidence of qualifications and training, minimum level 2 in Painting and decorating. CSCS card preferred. The work will be within the Education Sector so experience in this sector is desirable but not essential Essential to have experience working in a live environment Trusted to hit your targets weekly and manage workload effectively. Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards A full UK driving licence is essential. About You The successful Painter and Decorator will possess a Painting qualification with the ability to work across multiple sites, although further training, including in Health and Safety will be given. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and the willingness to work in and as a team to deliver a great service.
