Job Title: Head of Insight Application and Strategy
Salary: £69,800 - £80,000 per annum
Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Permanent, full time - 35 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Insight Application and Strategy to join us in the English Propositions Team, where you will drive forward innovation in learning and assessment products through the development of a strategy that will apply research and pedagogical insights effectively with a positive impact for educational outcomes.

About the role
As the Head of Insight Application and Strategy, you will be responsible for the annual strategic review of our Core English Strategy and for ensuring world class research about pedagogy is applied to our product portfolio. You will:
* Manage the strategic review process annually and communicate outcomes effectively so that strategic change is embedded across the organisation.
* Develop an insight application strategy and ensure Cambridge applies pedagogic based research insights to its propositions development and helps to achieve its wider strategic and commercial objectives.
* Lead a team to successfully deliver the strategy.
* Create productive collaborations with all other English teams to ensure a joined-up and responsive approach to bringing insight into products.
* Ensure the value of insight in our products is effectively communicated internally and externally.
About you
You will be a strong leader and an advocate for pedagogical research with a background in research and education and a proven track record of delivering on strategic priorities and business objectives.
You will be able to demonstrate how to take research insights and develop plans for implementing these to have a positive impact on educational outcomes. Your ability to collaborate with and persuade stakeholders at all levels to engage with and support the development of new products, capabilities, and tools will help the English Product Group to ensure best practice is embedded across our portfolio.
To be successful in this role, you will have leadership experience, effective stakeholder management and influencing skills, collaborative and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
