We have an opportunity for a Patient Coordinator to join their team of staff. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Previous healthcare experience (preferable but not essential). Previous SystmOne experience (preferable but not essential). GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level Proficient PC skills, including the use of software and systems including Excel. Basic financial awareness. Duties of this role include: Develop understanding of patient pathways and clinical practices across different departments, ensuring correct decisions regarding active waiting time clocks. Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement improvements in RTT delivery and target achievement. Manage complex or long clinical pathways, keeping patients informed and engaged regarding their treatment options, in collaboration with clinical and business intelligence teams. Ensuring the accurate management of patient waiting lists and referral-to-treatment (RTT) pathways. Responsibilities include validating and updating RTT clock statuses, analyzing complex patient pathways, and identifying necessary follow-up actions. By applying in-depth knowledge of RTT rules, the role ensures compliance, corrects discrepancies, and supports efficient patient flow and reporting accuracy.
