Pay: 15.44ph Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This position offers a structured schedule of Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts, and overtime opportunities. As a Chef de Partie, you will work closely with the kitchen brigade to prepare high-quality meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure the smooth running of your designated section. Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in your designated section, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Station Management: Take ownership of your section, ensuring all necessary ingredients, equipment, and supplies are available. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety at all times. Menu Contribution: Contribute to menu planning and specials, suggesting new ideas and improvements. Training: Support and mentor junior kitchen staff, assisting with their training and development. Stock Control: Monitor stock levels for your section, and report any shortages to the Head Chef or Sous Chef. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the timely delivery of dishes and quality control, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our guests. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. A keen eye for detail and high standards of food presentation. Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Flexibility and willingness to take on additional tasks when necessary. Preferred Qualifications: Culinary qualification (NVQ or equivalent) is desirable. Experience in high-end dining or fine dining establishments is a plus.
