Vacancy for Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Salary: Grade 5, Points 5-7 {£16295.88 - £16845.44 (Actual salary per year based on 30 hours per week)}
Hours: Monday to Friday: Core school hours plus additional time as required
This is a role with an opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupils, working to provide one-to-one and group support and teaching. You will be adapting teaching resources, thinking of new ways to learn, being fun and creative in your approach and adaptable to children's needs. Our Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school - you will work closely with our SENDCo and SEND team to provide our children with the best possible educational opportunities. An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays.
One of the roles will be supporting a HLTA with administration for students with medical needs. Please indicate on your application form if this part of the role is of interest to you.

The ideal candidate:
* Will possess GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
* Experience of supporting pupils with SEND of behavior needs would be beneficial.
* Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
* Can be adaptable, take on board new ideas and think on their feet!
* An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
