This exciting role is an opportunity to provide a range of interventions and support to women experiencing multiple and complex needs. You will offer support to reduce social harms such as offending, homelessness, substance misuse, mental and physical illness, extreme poverty, and violence and abuse. Additionally, you will provide practical and emotional support through one-to-one/group interventions with the aim of raising self-esteem, self-efficacy, and enhancing social and recovery capital.
You will have oversight across a range of projects, providing support and direction to keyworkers. This is a challenging role which will present the right candidate with opportunities to make a difference and to develop a service that provides women with positive opportunities for change.
Please note, this position is restricted to female applicants only due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres, in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
