Our Client are a leading communications brand with an outstanding reputation for customer service and value commitment. An opportunity has now arisen within their team for a Senior Product Manager (Mobile) for a 12-month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will own and drive the strategy for mobile services across markets, delivering exceptional customer experiences while increasing market share and net revenues.You will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, focusing on new and existing revenue growth in highly competitive consumer and SME markets.
Specific duties for the Senior Product Manager will include:
* Drive the strategic evolution of our product portfolio, balancing innovation with the management of existing offerings
* Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of newly acquired assets, aligning processes and customer experiences
* Develop and execute strategies to optimise legacy products, ensuring they continue to deliver value in a changing market landscape
* Lead the development and management of mobile products and associated service strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's 5-Year Plan and AOP
* Optimise digital experiences across all owned products, enhancing customer journeys while reducing support effort and operational costs
* Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, collaborating with the Head of Product and key stakeholders to drive strategic recommendations that maximise market share, revenue, and margin growth
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of the mobile product portfolio-analysing customer behaviour, financial performance, market trends, and technical viability-to ensure continued relevance and strategic fit
* Deliver regular KPI, revenue, and research reports to track product performance and inform strategic decisions
* Conduct industry, competitor, and customer research to drive ongoing product evolution and customer experience enhancements
* Own forecasting and budgeting processes, working closely with Finance to ensure accurate financial planning
* Provide expert guidance and support to Retail, Customer Support, and Business teams, acting as a trusted advisor on product-related matters
* Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, proactively identifying and mitigating any risks to revenue or margin
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Product Manager will have:
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives
* Proven ability to analyse market trends, customer behaviour and financial performance
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills
* Experience in stakeholder management, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights effectively
* Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities
* Ability to work in co-operation & collaboration with others to drive business objectives
* Self-motivated, well-organised and effective at communicating at all organisation levels
