About the area The School of Engineering is a multidisciplinary school offering education and research in nine different engineering disciplines: biomedical, civil, environmental, mining, chemical, mechanical, electrical, software and electronic and automation robotics. The School of Engineering has an established and dedicated team of teaching and research academics providing undergraduate and post-graduate programmes across these multiple engineering disciplines About the opportunity The School is looking for Expressions of Interest from qualified engineers to join the School as casual academics in 2025. You will work with academic staff to support student learning, and roles may including facilitating workshops and practical demonstrations and assessment of the students. This is an opportunity to get hands-on teaching experience and help support UWA’s mission to provide high-quality education. About you Formal tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant discipline. Previous academic experience in the discipline area would be beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly developed interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Your application will be retained on our academic casual register for 12 months.
