Location: Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7 4LS
Hours: 39 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, and to an On – Call Rota.
Salary: 25 – 27k per annum depending on qualifications and experience
Holiday: 31 Days per annum, includes Bank Holidays

The West Midlands Learning Campus is based in Hereford just outside the town of Bromyard, we provide 24/7 care and education for children and young adults with severe learning difficulties. The site is made up of Rowden House School, Winslow Court and Cedar Lodge, and this role will at times involve carrying out duties at our satellite homes - Park House, in Bromyard, Orchard End in Hereford and Fairfield House Nr Ludlow.
The Role
As a Maintenance Operative you will help to provide an attractive, clean and safe physical environment for young children, staff and visitors. This will involve, upkeeping the garden and grounds, carrying out maintenance and upgrading refurbishment and repairs.
You will be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment keeping them in safe clean working order, and completing regular checks to vehicles, property and other areas as required.
Understanding and complying with Health and Safety Legislation is essential to this role.
* Full Driving Licence is preferred
* Experience of Maintenance and Grounds Work/or willingness to learn new skills and ability
* General all-round DIY skills
* Previous knowledge of working in Schools/or Residential settings desirable
