* Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject or Information Security related field.
* Holds CISSP (or able to achieve it).
* Engineering lifecycle and Project Management knowledge and experience.
* Thorough understanding of information security principles and its potential impact on Product Systems.
* Experience in assessing and advising on controls to support Product Security.
* Experience in consultancy on the application of Product Security/Information Security concepts to applicable technologies within the environment (or similar).
* Proven experience in mentoring and/or providing support to others.
* Membership in a professional institute.
Responsibilities:
* Manage work within cost and budget parameters.
* Report on team progress and performance while maintaining an awareness of financial forecasting and estimating.
* Ensure Security Assurance Case captures and agrees on technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes.
* Provide compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations.
* Offer technical input and appropriate consideration of product security activities and issues for lifecycle management deliverables and Design Reviews, including Sub-Contract Design Reviews.
* Capture and agree upon input to appropriate Verification and Qualification Plans.
* Provide specialist advice and contribute to various project documentation, such as Training Needs Analysis (TNA), Technical Publications, Cyber Incident Plans, and Operating Instructions (this list is not exhaustive).
