Elevate your career with an industry leader in automotive repair About the Role As a Paint Technician with ARC Group Powered by Steer, you'll play an essential role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition with unmatched quality and care. You will: Deliver high-quality paint repairs, including colour matching, blending, and finishing, restoring vehicles to factory standards. Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, masking, and priming. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely operated. Communicate effectively with the wider team, management, and customers to ensure clarity on repair needs and expectations. Conduct final quality checks to ensure the painted vehicle meets or exceeds standards for refitting. Complete high-volume repairs in accordance with BSI PAS 10125 standards. Ensure the spray booth operates efficiently and effectively at all times. Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. About You We’re seeking a candidate who has: Extensive experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician, ideally in an automotive repair setting. Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality results. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Expertise in automotive repair processes and industry standards. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Experience leading and mentoring a paint team to enhance skills and performance. A proactive and independent work ethic, with the ability to take initiative. ATA/NVQ qualifications (preferred), with support available to renew or gain certifications as needed.
