Registered Children’s Manager - Children’s Residential Service
Up to £50,000 Per Annum + Outstanding Bonus Structure

Compass Associates is excited to be collaborating alongside one of the leading Children’s Care and Specialist Education providers. They have a portfolio of Residential Services and Specialist Schools for children and young people with Autism and complex needs such as Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.
Together we are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential service.
About The Service:
4 bedded home providing the highest quality therapeutic care grounded in an understanding of trauma and attachment. Rated “Good” overall by Ofsted.
Location: The service is commutable from Horsham, Guildford, Crawley, Dorking, Worthing, Sutton, Brighton, Tonbridge, Redhill and Sevenoaks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accountability for delivering high quality care within the home.
* Responsible for the delivery of quality care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters.
* Working alongside other professionals to provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child, focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
* Acting as a positive role model to colleagues and children.
* Developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth, and lasting change.
* Responsible for mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, performance reviews, and appraisals.
* Management of budgets, staffing, and compliance.
* Protection, safeguarding, and promoting the wellbeing of the children and young people.
Candidate Criteria:
* 5 years’ experience working within a similar environment at a senior level.
* Strong background working with children in a similar setting.
* Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young People's management qualification).
* Very strong understanding of legislation and safeguarding procedures.
* Experience of budgets and financial management.
* Full driving license is essential.
* Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
