The Role: We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant for Calshot Café. The café is located at Calshot Activities Centre, on the beach. With views across the Solent and situated within our activities hangar, the café serves a range of freshly cooked hot food, delicious pastries and cakes and speciality drinks. The café is busy and vibrant. Our customers include climbers and cyclists, beach walkers, campers and anyone else who visits Calshot. There is a real mix of people and each day is different. We are a friendly team who want to make our customer experience as good as possible. We are looking for a Catering Assistant with the ability to cope in a busy work environment, deliver excellent customer service and deal with unexpected situations. You will have a willingness to learn and be able to utilise excellent communication skills with impeccable personal presentation. Duties include serving customers, handling cash and card transactions, preparing and serving a range of menu items, alongside general tasks which include cleaning duties, washing up and restocking.
