Stock Control Assistant wanted in Greater Manchester!
KBB Recruitment are pleased to be working with a nationwide, leading independent kitchen retailor to help them find a Stock Control Assistant to join their team.
Full time permanent position, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, paying £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
Your responsibilities will include:
* Determining demand and raising orders for UK components (handles/bins/Glass etc)
* Booking in external Purchase Orders (UK and Italy)
* Raising internal Production Orders for customer requirements and stock requirements
* Updating company production schedule
* Producing cut lists for production
* Checking supplier invoices
* Raising internal orders for our spray department
* Booking in stock from internal spray orders
* Stock counts – inputting data on to the system
* Assisting with stock order forecasting
Requirements:
* Excellent excel skills
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Extremely organised
* Ability to multi-task and work in constantly changing environment
* Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams
* A friendly, positive and solution-focused attitude
* A strong understanding of kitchen components
* Keen eye for detail and ensuring accuracy in their work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Previous experience in purchasing or working for a manufacturer would be a definite advantage but full training on processes will be given. Previous KBB experience, particularly in the kitchen sector is essential.
