What to expect
Our Operational Risk team are the heart of leasing at Raylo. The role will involve managing risk by reviewing applications and queries to understand what is happening and why. As the business scales, you'll be at the forefront of growth, preventing losses and delivering a seamless customer experience.
The role will also include managing fraud investigations, being at the forefront of assisting customers and innocent parties through the investigation process, gathering evidence and making informed suggestions towards compliant outcomes. Working alongside other passionate and motivated team members, you'll own workflows to review applications and speak with customers.
Displaying curiosity, ownership and attention to detail will be key to your success at Raylo. We’ll expect you to be comfortable working towards targets, have high standards, attention to detail and be able to quickly analyse problems or data and communicate clear and informed solutions that enhance the customer’s journey.
During peak operating periods we may require some flexibility with working schedules, i.e. there may be a requirement to work some weekends or evenings, with sufficient notice.
You'll be great at...
* Being naturally curious and inquisitive – a problem solver who has great communication techniques and ownership to investigate further.
* Continuous improvement using a combination of data, proactive communication and your industry knowledge gained working in underwriting or fraud prevention environments. Working to tight timelines and targets, diligently completing your own workflow to a high standard. A team player, self-motivated and proactive to help and share in the success of the team.
* Learning and developing your skills. We use various credit and fraud prevention platforms, Looker, and LEAN principles, within an FCA regulated environment. So any experience in these from previous would be great, but we'll invest the time to teach you these if not.
