Job summary Working closely with ourCommunity Nursing Teams, as a Bank Healthcare Assistant you will support and assist the senior team members toprovide care to people in their own homesfor a widerange ofconditions including diabetes, wound and end of life care.Our work is crucial to the community as we aim to prevent unnecessary hospital admission. As part of our community nursing team we empower our staff to work autonomously and with flexibility by providing them with state of the artnew tabletsfor them to be able to check in from home, write their notes up on the go and allow them to not be trapped in an office base, so they can really enjoy working in their chosen community background Main duties of the job Within this role, you will- Assist in providing nursing care as delegated by the Team Leaderwithin patients homes. Maintain knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that is responsive to the changing needs of patients. Provide clerical and administrative support to the team as delegated by the Senior Sister/Team Sister Deliver care in accordance with organisation policies, procedures and guidelines, according to competencies Report any changes in condition of the patient to the Team Leaderor in their absence the designated nurse in charge of the caseload.
