We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Manager to join our successful client with a salary of £65k.
This role ensures that the firm has the required IT systems and capacity to deliver an outstanding service to clients though leading the creation of an IT Strategy and Roadmap that is aligned to the needs and direction of the firm and then driving the delivery of that strategy through management of operational activities, budgets and resources including both in house IT support and third-party suppliers.

Key responsibilities
1. Working closely with the Head of Operations to develop and lead the IT function.
2. Working closely with the Head of Operations and the wider Senior Leadership Team to create an IT Strategy and forward-looking roadmap that underpins and enables the business plan.
3. Owning the portfolio of live and planned IT projects and initiatives, ensuring these are aligned with IT strategy, the Firm’s overarching objectives, and are prioritised and sequenced to manage dependencies and optimise returns on resources and budgets.
4. Day-to-day management of all IT supplier relationships including applications and service providers.
5. Assisting in setting the annual IT budget alongside the Head of Operations and Management throughout out the year including checking and authorisation of IT invoices.
6. Managing onsite IT support which falls outside of the remit of the outsourced supplier, for example setting up new starters and leavers, equipment moves, laptop loans, ordering new equipment.
7. Acting as a trusted point of escalation for all IT issues where the outsourced IT supplier has been unable to resolve the issue to the expected standard, or where additional authorisation is required.
8. Line management of the in-house IT resources, including but not limited to the IT Coordinator, IT Trainer and Data Quality Administrator, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
9. Engaging in continuous professional development to allow us to constantly improve.
