Role Overview: As a Construction Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and personnel across construction sites. You will be overseeing all aspects of site logistics, from planning and scheduling deliveries to managing suppliers and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining the workflow and optimizing resources across multiple construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Logistics Planning: Develop and implement logistics plans for projects, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and suppliers. Material Management: Oversee the timely delivery, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment on site. Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers and transport companies, ensuring on-time delivery and quality control. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety protocols. Requirements: Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes and site logistics. Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and site teams. Ability to manage a team effectively, with a focus on performance and safety. Proficiency in logistics software and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, etc.).
