The role: As Category Development Manager, you will spearhead the category and shopper marketing strategy across Northern European distributor markets. This pivotal role bridges category management, shopper insights, and trade marketing to deliver distribution and visibility growth. Key responsibilities include: Category Strategy : Localize and implement the category vision, utilizing consumer and shopper insights to capitalize on market opportunities. Portfolio Management : Define and execute assortment strategies, identifying distribution gaps, and tracking performance to ensure optimal portfolio coverage. Trade Execution : Develop in-store merchandising principles and create point-of-sale (POS) toolkits to support distributor activations and enhance brand presence throughout the shopper journey. NPD Launches : Lead market-specific targets for new product introductions, aligning with brand teams, finance, and market managers. SRM Support : Provide insights to shape pricing strategies and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with local market dynamics and overall business goals.
