The Post holder will be based at our Shaw Lane office in Doncaster, however, travelling around the borough may be required. We would therefore expect you to be based within or close to the local area for this placement.

St Leger Homes is an award-winning, customer focused social housing provider that manages over 19,000 homes on behalf of City of Doncaster Council and an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Asset Team for an Asset Data Student Placement.
Starting on 1st September 2025 and reporting to the Asset Data Manager, the postholder will work as part of a professional, multi-disciplinary team that provides information to the asset data and planning team, ensuring that all asset data and information is captured as required and is accurate, robust, up to date and remains fit for purpose. Furthermore, you will support the asset data and planning team in the planning, development, and timely issuing of asset improvement programmes in line with the approved Asset Management Strategy, and in the ongoing analysis of asset data, forecasting and ensuring the provision of regular affordability assessments.
The workload is varied, and you can be confident that there will not be a dull moment!
Candidate Requirements
The post requires a dedicated person who is currently studying to achieve a qualification in Asset or Property Management, Data Science, Business, Business Analytics, Statistics or similar which could include data analysis.
In terms of the skills, we are looking for, you need to be organised, great with IT, have the ability to analyse and work with complex and large volumes of data and information, and be able to show attention to detail as it is really important that our data is right. Problem solving and logical thinking skills are also important as well as the ability to be self-motivated.
