KS2 Interventions Teacher Job Description: Deliver small-group or one-on-one sessions tailored to bridge learning gaps and accelerate progress in core subjects such as English and Maths. Identify and address specific areas of need for students, ensuring targeted support is provided. Use differentiated strategies and resources to engage students at varying levels of ability. Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to align intervention plans with classroom teaching and learning goals. Conduct assessments to monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust interventions as needed. Support the development of key skills such as problem-solving, comprehension, and critical thinking. Create a positive and inclusive environment that builds students’ confidence and motivation to succeed. Implement effective behavior management strategies and promote a growth mindset. The Ideal KS2 Interventions Teacher Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Possess a recent and clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Demonstrate successful experience working with KS2-aged students. Have experience delivering targeted interventions to boost student achievement and close attainment gaps.
