Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. You will play a vital role in supporting our nursery teachers and ensuring that our children have a safe, fun, and enriching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering planned activities that support the development of children across the curriculum.
* Provide one-on-one support to children with additional learning needs.
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.
* Encourage children’s curiosity, exploration, and creativity in a safe and secure setting.
* Support children during daily routines, including snack times, outdoor play, and quiet time.
* Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's development and progress.
* Collaborate with nursery staff and parents to support children’s individual needs.
* Adhere to all safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) is preferred, but not essential.
* Experience working with children, ideally within a nursery or early years setting.
* A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A positive, friendly, and patient attitude.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
