Job Overview:
The Social and PR Co-ordinator will be responsible for looking after and reporting on our Chinese social media accounts, including but not exclusive of RED, Weibo, and WeChat.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), influencers, agents, MCNs, and stylists in the Chinese fashion space.
2. Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns to drive awareness and support product launches.
3. Leverage existing influencer relationships and build new connections with fashion/Gen-Z influencers with large followings (preferably >50K followers).
4. Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify new influencer partnership opportunities.
5. Research and generate relevant creative content ideas that cater to our Chinese audience.
6. Schedule and post all social media content on relevant platforms.
7. Track and report on the performance of influencer campaigns, optimizing strategies as needed.
8. Engage directly with the community and work with community managers across social channels and customer care platforms.
9. Support other marketing initiatives as needed, including events, paid media, copywriting, etc.
10. Write and edit high-quality content for socials and occasionally PR communications.
11. Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken).
2. Experience overseeing both Western and Chinese social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, RED, Weibo, and WeChat.
3. 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing or community management, preferably in the fashion/Gen-Z market.
4. Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with KOLs/influencers.
5. Confident with excellent communication and networking skills.
6. Proactive, positive attitude.
