Principal Psychologist Salary: £58, 972 - £68, 525 p/annum (depending on skills and experience) Location: Birmingham We are working with the UK's leading charity who help people to thrive after a brain injury. I have several vacancies across their sites for psychologists with experience/an interest in rehabilitation/neuro rehab. This is a brain injury rehabilitation centre where people initially come for a 12-week assessment period, where they begin a rehabilitation period to support their recovery. This is then reviewed and may be extended to allow for further rehabilitation to be supported. Key role & responsibilities for the Principal Psychologist role: To provide specialist psychological/neuropsychological assessment of adults with acquired brain injury referred to BIRT and related services. To formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological and/ or neuropsychological intervention to support the neurorehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injury as part of the multi/inter disciplinary team. To undertake psychologically based risk assessment and risk management for relevant service users and provide advice on the psychological aspects of risk to the multi/inter disciplinary team. To consult with and provide specialist psychological guidance to carers and families of service users. You will engage in relevant research and advise other professionals as appropriate. Minimum requirements for the Principal Psychologist are: HCPC registration Experience and/or interest in rehabilitation/neuro rehabilitation Psychology experience Good communication skills Tier 2 sponsorship can be offered for the successful candidate.
