Job Overview
A&H Europe are based in Cowfold, West Sussex and are a leading supplier of printed fashion packaging dealing directly with established High Street retailers. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee all financial aspects of our organisation. This is a permanent and part-time role of 20-25 hours per week (flexible hours/work days to suit) and is office based; therefore, candidates will need to have their own car and live within an easy driving distance of Cowfold.
Responsibilities
1. Sales ledger
2. Credit control
3. Purchase ledger
4. Nominal ledger to trial balance
5. Bank reconciliations
6. Inter-company reconciliations
7. Accruals and prepayments
8. Preparation of monthly management accounts
9. Point of contact for auditors
10. Full banking responsibility
11. All HMR&C matters including VAT returns
12. Sage payroll
13. HR and recruitment
14. All general office management
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices; excellent analytical and organisational skills; meticulous attention to detail; strong communication and interpersonal abilities; professional qualifications are desirable for this role.
