A SEN school in Southend-on-Sea are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.
We are looking for an educator with:
1. Personal experience
2. Previous work/volunteering in schools
3. Experience in an educational setting with children of special educational needs is desirable for this role.
The school requires an individual with good organisational skills and the ability to remain calm when working under pressure in challenging situations. They are also seeking candidates who can communicate information clearly and listen to students and staff effectively.
This role requires the candidate to hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. Due to children having specific needs, it is necessary to have the ability to adapt to individual needs and understand developmental difficulties. Full-time availability with temp and perm positions is essential. Permanent positions can offer relevant training opportunities and career growth.
