Robertson Sumner are working with an IT service provider who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to work with their end-client to drive the implementation of a new HR technology platform and oversee the transition of associated IT applications. This role will focus on ensuring a smooth migration from existing systems to a modern, integrated solution, minimizing operational impact while meeting business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Delivery: Define and manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables for system implementation and application transition.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with key business areas, technical teams, and external providers to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
3. Vendor Management: Coordinate with solution providers and third-party vendors to oversee system configuration, integration, and deployment.
4. Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and dependencies, implementing strategies to minimize disruptions.
5. Budget & Resource Oversight: Track project costs and resources, ensuring efficient use of budgets and personnel.
6. Change & Adoption Support: Facilitate training, develop user guides, and provide transition support to stakeholders.
7. Data & System Management: Oversee data migration, validation, and system integration, ensuring accuracy and security.
8. Testing & Assurance: Lead system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to confirm readiness for deployment.
9. Post-Launch Support: Provide assistance and implement improvements following go-live.
Key Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience leading projects involving HR system implementation and IT application transitions.
2. Solid understanding of HR processes, compliance standards, and system requirements.
3. Hands-on experience with leading HR technology platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG).
4. Technical expertise in data migration, system integration, and configuration.
5. Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
6. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
7. Ability to manage complex projects in fast-paced environments.
8. Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
9. Proven track record of leading business-critical initiatives with significant impact.
10. Insurance sector experience is highly beneficial.
