Morgan Hunt is currently working with a Charity based in Shoreditch, London in search for a Special Events Manager.
To contribute to the Fundraising department's purpose of maximising income from potential and current supporters through project managing specific events.
Role: Special Events Manager
Contract: Permanent
Pay: £28,337 - £31,485 plus inner London Weighting of £3,366
Location: Shoreditch, 1 day from office
Key Responsibilities of the new Special Events Manager:
1. To successfully manage and deliver large-scale fundraising events and special projects by overseeing all event logistics and relationship management.
2. To lead on specific fundraising projects and large-scale events, and support development of assistants through your projects.
3. Contribute to and deliver particular aspects of the department's annual business plan and budget.
4. To develop and create engaging materials for events and stakeholders.
5. To work cross-departmentally to ensure that fundraising activities are managed and developed in a way that maximises income.
Previous experience of the new Special Events Manager:
1. Experience of success in delivering results through managing engagement and stewardship events.
2. Well-developed ability to build, manage and develop relationships with individuals and teams, both internally and externally and to negotiate and achieve objectives through these relationships.
3. Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to organise and plan own work with conflicting deadlines.
4. Excellent communication skills to present information in a clear, persuasive, and inspiring way for a range of audiences.
