Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £80 - £95 a day
Location: Dudley
Job Type: Monday to Friday
Hours: Temporary – 08:30 – 15:30.
Smart Education are currently recruiting for teaching assistants to assist with temporary ad hoc cover in multiple of schools across the Dudley area.
As a Teaching Assistant, you play a vital role in the development of the pupils educational and social needs. Previous experience as a teaching assistant within Primary schools is desirable, along with knowledge and familiarity of the national curriculum.

Job Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:
Level 3 qualification as a teaching assistant or equivalent
Proven experience as a teaching assistant in primary schools
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum as a teaching assistant
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a teaching assistant with staff, colleagues, pupils and parents
A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey as a teaching assistant
Either possessing and enhanced DBS check on the update service or willing to obtain one.
Understanding of and experience with safeguarding practises as a teaching assistant
