Join us and become a part of our success story. Techtronic Industries EMEA is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior SysOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our complex services, systems, and infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of system administration principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong leadership and mentoring skills, alongside a desire to drive change and implement innovative solutions that ensure the seamless integration of various IT services. The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for- M365 services, including- Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Azure AD Connect. Technical lead of major SysOps & IT Infrastructure projects, fulfilling scoping, planning, implementation, and hyper-care roles. Setup and administration of AWS SysOps tasks within services such as IAM, EC2, RDS. Executing and co-ordinating cyber incident response, alongside the Cyber Security team (triage, eDiscovery, Defender 365.) Project Manage smaller, internal SysOps projects. Be an escalation point for all technical SysOps challenges within the IT ServiceDesk and SysOps team. Provide 2nd 3rd line support for 365, Windows Servers, Microsoft Roles and Features, such as AD. Provide work status reporting and system and service health reporting. Define, create, maintain, and enhance systems procedures. Provide support and advice to operational infrastructure teams to enable efficient operation and problem resolution. Working closely with other members of the IT Infrastructure Team and wider IT team to ensure critical hardware and services are robust and highly available. Lead and participate in international IT projects. Generating reports and presentations for Senior Management. Skills / Requirement: At least 10 years IT experience. Experience in M365 services, including: Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Power Platform Experience of Windows Server 2016 (installation, patching, managing, troubleshooting & upgrading.) Experience of Windows based products and services (Active Directory, BitLocker, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PowerShell, WSUS, SQL, RDS.) Experience of Intune (MDM, EUD Conditional Access and Policies) and AutoPilot Deployments (Windows 10 and/or 11) is desired. Experience of one, or a combination of: Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Defender, AWS administration, VOIP and call enter software. Understanding of LAN/WAN network technology. Knowledge of protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, TFTP, DNS, SSH.) Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel (intermediate level), Outlook, PowerPoint etc. Ability to work with people in multicultural & cross functional environments. Ability to work independently. Previous experience in a LAN/WAN environment, supporting multiple locations and a 1,000 end user environment. IT related higher education qualification. Driving License desired. Ability to travel across EU for management tasks, team meetings and ad-hoc project support.
