This is an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of innovative Telecare solutions, enabling individuals to live safely and independently in their own homes. Key Responsibilities Installation and Support: Install, program, and demonstrate Telecare equipment to service users and carers. Assessment: Arrange appointments, assess service suitability, and determine eligibility. Maintenance: Perform ongoing maintenance, battery replacement, and non-engineering functions. Stock Management: Operate a stock control system, prepare performance data, and maintain accurate electronic records. Collaboration: Work closely with Social Care and Health teams to meet customer needs efficiently. Holistic Support: Identify additional needs, provide advice, and signpost users to other services where appropriate. Health and Safety: Promote home safety and comply with health, safety, and equality policies. About You We are looking for a motivated, empathetic, and team-oriented individual with a strong commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable adults. Essential Experience and Skills: Experience liaising with internal and external agencies (e.g., Housing, Social Services). Knowledge of the current Health & Social Care and Housing agenda. IT proficiency, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and support. Ability to undertake risk assessments and demonstrate awareness of health and safety issues. Desirable: Experience in the supply and fitting of equipment in service users’ homes. NVQ in Customer Service or equivalent qualification. Qualifications: A qualification in Social Care or recent experience delivering services to vulnerable adults. Why Join Us?
