Join Our Energy Team as an ECC Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced ECC (NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract) Project Manager to be involved in a variety of projects across technical disciplines with clients nationwide. Projects may include HVDC, interconnectors, wind farms, substations, OHL, geotechnical solutions, building design, protection systems, LVAC, FEED, new builds, refurbishment works, and connection schemes.
As part of our growing and collaborative team, you'll work with clients to develop innovative, sustainable solutions addressing industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges. With ambitious growth plans, there are many development opportunities within our business. This role offers a chance to contribute significantly to the UK energy transition.
Your Responsibilities
1. Manage the full project lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design, construction, and closure.
2. Report on project status, including commercial and program updates.
3. Manage internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
4. Oversee contract management and compliance with contract data.
5. Control time, quality, cost, and risk throughout the project.
6. Raise changes, including compensation events and early warnings, promptly.
7. Communicate and report to clients and subcontractors.
8. Promote high health and safety standards.
About You
You are proactive, with knowledge of the electricity transmission and distribution industry. You can coach and collaborate within our wider energy team, understand industry best practices, and are engaged with the engineering community.
* Hold an NEC4 ECC Project Manager accreditation.
* Have previous project management experience in relevant areas.
* Willing to travel as needed.
* Knowledge of National Grid's Transmission procedures and technical specifications is highly desirable.
* An understanding of Impressed Voltage causes and effects is advantageous.
