Contract Personnel arepleased to be working with their new client who is based in GreatYarmouth and looking for an Assistant WeddingCoordinator to join their venue team on a permanentbasis.
The idealcandidate will have 1-year similar experience, or come from abanqueting/hospitality background and be comfortable carrying outthe followingduties:
KeyResponsibilities:
* Assisting the Wedding Coordinator with all aspects of awedding
* Liaising with the Bride and Groom toensure their special day runs smoothly
* Regularcommunication with the Banqueting chef
* Ensuringthe wedding set up is in order and correct, and that time scales onthe day are met and everything runssmoothly
* Serving the Wedding Breakfast with theWedding Team
* Stocking and working behind thewedding
* The promotion of weddings at thisprivate venue is imperative – so social media and marketingknowledge are essential
Other Requirements:
* The ability to workon your own initiative and work well within a team. This is afast-paced environment where you may need to problem solvethroughout the day so that each wedding runssmoothly.
* When there are no weddings booked,you will be required to Supervise and work in the main bar andrestaurant area.
* A full driving licence or yourown transport are preferred due to the location and that fact thatpublic transport will not be available at the laterhours.
You may be required to carryout any other duties that are within the scope of the job, asrequested by the Wedding Coordinator.
This is afull time, permanent role offering no less than 40 hours per week.You must be available to work days or evenings Monday to Friday, aswell as have weekend availability.
The salary iscompetitive, depending on experience.
